One of our very talented KSO Double Bass players, Ann Downey, is a member of Finest Kind, a traditional folk music trio. Finest Kind plays at folk music concerts, events and festivals across the U.S., Canada and the UK and sometimes on good ol' CBC. They are one group out of many artists on a tribute CD, "Singing Through the Hard Times - songs of Utah Phillips", which was nominated for a Grammy in Best Traditional Folk this year!
